PinPoint PXI Diagnostics with Functional Test
TestVue32, the PinPoint II Functional 14 slot system, provides clear menus and interactive graphics to guide users through each stage of a test strategy, automatically generating on-screen prompts. This offers a combination of the powerful test capabilities of DiagnoSYS PinPoint II test cards with PXI instrumentation. Utilising PXI allows almost any board of any technology type to be functional tested.
PinPoint II software complete test programs quickly and accurately with TestVue32™, PinPoint II’s intuitive, Windows-based Software. This intuitive Windows based software environment ensures that programming a board can be completed in hours or days rather than weeks or months. When used for component level diagnostics PinPoint II gets to the heart of a problem, minimising board rework by identifying a fault to the actual component or trace, precisely and accurately. In-circuit driver/sensor cards execute full functional truth table tests to the whole of the board, selected area (cluster) or device. Fully programmable positive and negative drivers, programmable pull-up and pull-down resistors, no connect pin, true tri-state test, shorts test, high speed functional and voltage tests provide the performance required by test departments. In addition, PinPoint II has been designed to exceed the most stringent military and commercial operating requirements of DEF STD 0053. In-circuit functional test of both analog and digital components, edge card functional, VI analysis, boundary scan, PXI test and schematic reverse engineering can all be included in the same test platform. TestVue32 provides clear menus and interactive graphics to guide users through each stage of test strategy, automatically generating on-screen prompts to get the job done right without delay.
