Test methods include in-circuit, functional edge, boundary scan, cluster, analog, mixed signal, Analog signature (VI) and fixtureless techniques. The system tests all types of device technology using advanced pin electronics.
FaultFinder system allows you to find more faults through built-in DMM, waveform generator, oscilloscope, counter-time, shorts locator, Performance Test Module, LCR bridge, Analog Signature Analysis and programmable power supplies. It has up to 48 dynamic digital test channels and 1MHz or 5MHz options for data rate.
An extensive library of device functional test routines including Western and Russian devices is available, and it easily integrates with instrumentation for extended analog functional testing. Instrument Strategizer (option) enables graphic programming of external integrated instruments and immediate graphic programming of instruments with VISA drivers.
FaultFinder conforms to the Defence Standard 00-53 for safe test of any device. Interactive documentation and help facilities are included in the software, and maintenance and calibration instructions are included in the system documentation.
TestVue™ software
The TestVue™ software platform, used on PinPoint II, offers a powerful array of features including TestFlow™, Analog virtual instruments, SeaWave and a simple intuitive user interface.
Technical Directors
FaultFinder system, the benchtop fault diagnostics system for printed circuit boards, is ideal for use with medium complexity and size circuits. It provides fast test programming and a quick learning curve for rapid integration into the test and maintenance environment.
It is a complete test and diagnostic system in a small foot-print and provides full test data logging with a history of boards. Test programs can be shared across the rest of the TestVue product range (subject to suitable system configuration) and Test Results Server (option) allows sharing of data with functional test systems and re-work areas or for off-line analysis.
FaultFinder captures the knowledge in a test program, releasing skilled staff for where they are needed most. Comprehensive training is available with standard and advanced courses. Tailored training is also available to meet your exact requirements.
FaultFinder is a reliable and robust system that is in use worldwide. Cost effective support options are available to ensure your system is always available and using the latest software enhancements.
Diagnosys test programming services ensure that your system is immediately ready for use or support you through workload peaks.
Finance Directors
FaultFinder, the benchtop fault diagnostics system for printed circuit boards, offers low through-life costs with tailored support packages to ensure the system is always available and using the latest software.
Complete test programming services smooth peaks in workload allowing you to meet targets. Faults in a circuit are identified correctly, meaning less re-work and ensuring a working product in the field.
FaultFinder offers a rapid return-on-investment. For example, a major customer has estimated payback in just a few weeks by using a FaultFinder to screen good and failing boards, thereby saving money on not putting good boards through the repair process.
Full training and application support ensures that the system is fully utilised.
Purchase plans are available to spread the investment payments, enabling you to start using FaultFinder straight away.
Managing Directors
Diagnosys products have been developed with over 40 years of experience in all aspects of test, repair and maintenance. European design, technology and quality, along with this experience, ensure the FaultFinder system meets standards and excels in its role.
FaultFinder is in use and being supported worldwide with major railway and industrial organisations. It uses the latest technology and multiple fault-finding techniques to ensure your circuits are fully working and safe to use.
